Hi there,

I am slowly getting back into my rhythm of things. After the huge company audit in March I kind of had a breakdown I guess. I didn’t have my computer on for months. I fell asleep on the couch after dinner and couldn’t find the energy to do anything.

Thanks to Kim, Mel and Ria who sent out messages of ‘missing in action’ and ‘mojo lost’ I am back. I am in the middle of making a collab with Ria, ‘the bush collab’ just for kimmie (you can find a preview on my facebook, and we are working on a blog train, its missesbeehavens birthday in july.

So here we are again :)

Last time i wrote about 'A Journey In Weight Loss'. I have more to tell you :) This is so cool. We now have like 7 people joining in our roadtrip. Its awesome. Linda, Carolyn and Sarah have cooked up some awesome packs, templates and prompts to encourage you to not only lose weight but to try and find out why we are overweight. The most important though is that we have a private forum hidden behind 'The Digiscrappers' where we can share our layouts, thoughts, worries but also chat with each other, support each other and share our succeses or other stories. I am loving them. I made a layout yesterday with two full length photo's of myself. Still in doubt whether to post it here though. I know a lot of people are in a similar pickle but its still a little embarrasing to see all those lumps and bumps all over the place.

Hi there,

I hear there is a lot of snow on the east coast of the US. I hope everyone is well. This much snow kind of puts Holland to a standstill. Traffic stops driving, planes and trains are delayed, mail and e-mail are even slowed down a little...although you have to see our mail men and women....battleing through snow and ice and slippery roads. Our mail man always smiles and says hello.....no matter the weather.

So this word art is kind of an ode to our mail persons LOL and who ever else you can think of. I suppose writing this i think Linda is a mail person ....so an ode to Linda too !!

I want to wish everyone out there a very merry Christmas !! Thank you everyone who wished me a happy birthday whether it was on facebook, by email, text or telephone :)

I made a little word art for you, which i am sure you will be able to use with all the photo's you took yesterday....here are a few i took :) We had christmas dinner with Marcels family. His brother (and wife and daughter) were there and of course Marcels parents. It was a quiet day but nice.

Toys

Well its like 17 days to Christmas :) All i can remember about Christmas when i was little was the toys. Here in Holland 'kids don't get toys at Christmas, they got them from Sinterklaas. I can't remember much from Christmasses in Scotland except snow and a pram and a typewriter and decorations (not just a tree).... I dont know whether they are from the same Christmas or not hahahaha

In Holland Christmas is more about family and the cosyness you create in your home with lights and candles.....Christmas dinners (yes Christmas and Boxing Day) are always with family. To bad most of mine is out of reach LOL. Marcel has a meeting this evening so i promissed Yvano we would put up our Christmas tree. I will make some pictures and post them tomorrow.

We got little quote books from St. Nick with quotes about mums and dads :) I love quotes LOL. Todays freebie is from the dad book....have fun with that !! Leave me some love.

Let It Snow

I love Christmas and Snow and Jollyness :) I hate it though when snow interferes with traffic....people drive slower, sometimes too slow....sometimes not. It took me 3 and a half hours to get home last week. Normally it takes me 45 minutes. I had to ask a friend to pick up Yvano from after school club....you have to pick them up before seven....i got home at half past eight :(

So anyway now St. Nick has left i will be putting up my christmas tree tomorrow. Probably late afternoon, hubby has a dinner meeting and its just Yvano and me :)

Yvano got a playmobil adventcalender from st. Nick.....he is really curious to whats in tomorrows :) I wonder who het got that from hahahahaha, yes me :):)

Its Marcels birthday today ! Happy birthday hunnie:) Not like he'd read this LOL

St.Nick

Today its december 5th, thats St. Nikolaas in Holland and Belgium. It pakjesavond :) that translates as pressienight...its the evening when St. Nikolaas bangs on the front door (wink) and leaves somes pressies behind for the kids who live there.... Yvano is really excited LOL

We woke up early this morning to find our attick room leaking....its probably snow that has blown under the seal however, it better stop darned quick before the plaster falls off :( I need to take photos too to send to the company that put the extention on.....

I havent blogged in a while....i kind of got side tracked by life (and farmville) both kind of addictive lol. Yvano is now on his meds for ADHD and he is doing great. On the 10th of January he has another appointment with the doctor to find out how much PDD-NOS he has. Marcel's kidney stone has calmed down for the time being but its not over till its out :( And his shoulder...well we went to see the shoulder specialist. The small surgery (with little holes) isnt going to work, there is just too much damage. The big surgery is really BIG and could put him out of running for months...they want to take a piece of bone from his collar bone and screw that in front of his arm so it will not dislocate any more. He has to go back to the doctor on Valentines day. For now its Physiotherapy.

So as you can read from the above...there isnt much time left for blogging. So i kind of need to get back in the habit....what better way to do that than give you another freebie. Its kind of snowing all over one half of the planet. The other half will have to keep it for another six months.

He ladies and gentlefriends,

There is a lot going on in my life at the moment. Thats why its hard for me to blog every day. I do want to though :)

The love of my life is 5 and will be six in a few months. He has ADHD and PDD-NOS. He is planned for a physical on the 4th of October. After which he will get medication.

The other love of my life is just a little older lol and will be 42 in a few months. He is having problems with a shoulder that keeps dislocating and we know surgery is needed again. What they are going to do we will find out on the 8th of October.

I have have joined Scraps with a Mouse. Which is an awesome new store. Just starting out and the team are just getting to know each other :) The have challenges and a forum. I have some new released word art packs their on sale with a 50% discount. The previews are here.

Its back to school for us here in Holland. Its going to take Yvano a while to get back into his daily rythm....I read somewhere it takes us 6 weeks to get into a rythm of something. LOL

I have some stuff here for you. I chose my store :) Its the cutest little place. Its a new store and they are starting up. The owner told me 'its not my store, its the teams store' and thats exactly what i am looking for. A little place to call home. I saw loads of peeps there who left MLAS. Good and bad news....

Hi there,

I have some good and bad news.....the bad first then....Yesterday we were at the hospital twice with dear hubby. His shoulder luxated three times last night. That is really bad. Those who know us, know he was operated on his shoulder four years ago and this was not supposed to happen again :( So we are back to the othopedic surgeon asap. I have to call him.....for now Marcel is home from work.

Need a pick me up after this depressing news? I have had several offers to sign with some stores. I need to think about which one (yes i will do only one) fits with me most at this time. As i have loads on my plate already :)

Camping war - the full saga

Hi there folkes,

Its Saturday morning and we are still camping....Yvano is at Arends place watching cartoons, Marcel is asleep i am just about to go shopping with my friends...after all that has happened we both need new shoes (shhhhtttt read on, thats just a girl thing ).

In May this year our friends invited us to come to their caravan for a week in the summer since we were not going on holiday. The trouble started the week before our holiday. My friend calls me and tells me she sent her husband packing because he was having an affair. It would be best if we didn't come. Yvano was terribly disappointed.

A few days later after loads of phone calls and text messages between us. She asked us to come anyway, it would be good for her to talk and a distraction for her kids....so here we are.

Across the field is another caravan, it is owned by his parents.....her ex in laws..... to caravans down is another caravan , owned by my ex brother in law.....her in laws are in an emotional turmoil because of the oncoming divorce and how to act around my friend and her kids...

Here is the thing....Yvano ran around their caravan. The old guy flipped, really.....he yelled at Yvano and then to me....'thats it i have had enough i want you to go home':( Yvano doesn't mean anything by this, he is five for goodness sake and has a communication problem on top of that with his ADHD and PDD NOS..... There was a huge argument on the field between everyone else and these ex in laws.....My friend called her ex husband and asked him to talk to his parents. He said he would come yesterday.....

He did hold to his word and talked to his parents and after a blasting arguement they all made up and the old guy asked me over. He apologized to me for asking us to go home but told me to keep my kid under control. Well anyone who knows me knows i try....and of course i cried.....I am around him like a fly on honey. My biggest fear is that people can't handle his loudness. The idea of this holiday was for Yvano to have some fun and for me to be able to let go a little......Obviosly i can't.....

We are doubting now whether to go home and give this man the satisfaction of chasing us away or to stay untill monday and try to enjoy the time here...with the rest of the campsite on our side....

I will of course let you know what we do. We should be back Monday at the latest anyway.....

Summer 2010

Hi there,

How is life ? I am fine....i had a few things to go through but i think i am back on track. My son has been diagnosed with ADHD and PDD-NOS. We have to go take classes :) and he will start medication somewhere at the end of September. My car broke again (yes, i hate that thing, but i have no other.....) My computer is finally on line and i tore a muscle in my neck and i am healed. I just finish work and today is the first day of my summer holiday. We are going to some friends, they have a stately caravan for a week. My brother in law has a caravan there too and my niece and nephew will also be there. We are NOT camping people but we are doing it for Yvano.

I am trying to get back into the vibe of scrapping.... i haven't made some wa's in a while and really need to get back into it. It seems that the function of lead designers is taking up more of my time than i thought it would. So i need to take a good long think about what i should do with that.

I hope you are all well. I am fine. Yesterday was ok, the lady was really nice and well she saw Yvano as he is. We kept the tv off, his nintendo tidied away and yes he was hyperactive:) not bad, just jumping all over the place. So on Wednesday another observer goes to his school and does the same. We will find out what the next step is before our holiday which is planned for the first three weeks of August :)

I promissed to show you what i could do with my new tablet. I worked hard on a mini all week and made this. It is based on the summer and my mums visits to Holland. I really hope you like it. Every single element and paper is made from scratch by me and i am pretty darned proud of me :) The download links are below the preview. How about leaving me some love :)

Hi there,

I hope you are all well. I am fine, i am a little nervous about this afternoon but i'll have to get through it. The observor lady is coming to our house this afternoon to observe Yvano. Another is going to the school next wednesday. They want to be 100% sure about ADHD before we do a ritalin test. Today is also the yearly school walk. The kids get to walk 4km and at the end they get a medal and an ice cream, that is in the early evening. I hope it stays dry :)

You Brighten My Life :)

Hi there,

We had a wonderful weekend. I hope you did too :) Our bbq was fun and the weather was perfect. Bianca and i polished off three bottles of wine and we sat outside untill 2am. We talked and talked, as women do hahahah. Yesterday, Yvano stayed there and they played in the paddling pool. Marcel and Peter went to Mediamarket to see about getting me a new laptop. :) That should be here late this week :)What i did, Marcel dropped me off at home and i cleaned untill my fingers hurt. The oberserver lady comes tomorrow !

I bought a kit last week and had not yet opened it. I bought it 'cause i fell in love with the parrots on the front. I love the expressions and bright colours. The kit is made by Rucola Designs. A Daughter Is A Gift Of Love

Know what day it is ? Yup my favorite!! I hope you are all well, I am fine, finally getting rid of this cold hihi. Friday always puts a spring in my step. I love Friday cause i get to look out to the weekend. No work and all play....well mostly all play hahahahaha This weekend we are going to our friends house to barbecue. We have known them for years (like 20 or so :)) and their daughter and my son were born on the same day, so that kind of gives us a special bond hihi. Now the kids are five and they told us they are going to marry each other (yes, both of them) hahahaha how adorable is that hihi. We will probably end up staying the night hihi so i go they prepared with jammies .

Oh i picked the colour swatch for the freebie for wednesday and it's looking pretty cool :) You want to see, ok.....Its going to be called 'Taking It Easy'. It has patriotic colours as well as the Dutch national colour (orange). It has to do with the summer but also with my mums visits...so that is all you are getting right now :) Be patient. If you have anything you would want to see in there, let me know but don't forget, i have to be able to draw it and i can't draw hahahahaha

I hope you are all feeling well ! I am fine, today is thursday a pretty normal day and in two hours we will be at school or work.

Before i am that far i some things to share with you. First, did you see my blogskin? Cool huh ! This is made by me for Kirsten. Kirsten is a wonderful designer who goes by the name Samceline Designs. She made this most gorgeous kit called Funny Farm, sounds like they may need to hold you a day or two right.....(bare with me, i'll get back to that) But it really is a farm kit and the animals and so on are really made by Kirsten. They are awesome. I really do love her critters. Hi there,

Remember me ? I know, even my mum was worried because i had not blogged in so long :)

How are you doing? I am fine :) I have a cold and have been really busy but other than that i am fine.

Our designer call at MLAS was amazing and we have 10 new designers :0 who will be having a grand opening soon ! Grand openings usually mean huge sales....so keep an eye out !

I bought a bamboo tablet with my earnings from my word art, took me like 6 months to save up for it, hubby insisted i get a good one and hey, this one came with the newest version of photoshop elements, so i am pretty happy.....hmmm now you are wondering what i can do with it......well, you should really have to wait untill the collabs come out, oke we'll make a deal. I'll make a special mini, just for you guys :) And give it to you next Wednesday (OMG what have i just done :))

Hi there,

I know i have been a terrible blogger. There has been loads going on at MLAS and all i can say at the moment is that the designer opening ad was a great succes. Also i got my bamboo on saturday and i love it :)

I did take a rest from the computer this weekend and made some more jewellery. The photos are here.

This colour is gorgeous. It is called cherry Quartz. These amazing pink beads and mixed with Jet Black Swarovskis, that really bring out there colour. I loved the colour so much i made a bracelet to match. € 15,00.
These beautiful Peach Marble semi precious stones are an awesome shade of peach. They have marble lines running through them which makes every bead unique. They are mixed with dark grey Swarovski bicones and make an awesome combination for the coming summer. € 12,50

This necklace and earring set is made with soft pink glass 'pearls'. In there you will also find three dark purple Jablonex pearls and silver spacers. € 10,00.

Could i blog and not have a freebie ? of course not. You know the worst thing ? Saturday was my bloggies birthday, and i forgot. How terrible is that...so to make up for it all i zipped all my word arts from 2009 together for you. You can download them -> here.

Hi there,

I hope you are all well. I am fine. The funeral yesterday wasn't too bad. I spoke to my stepdad, who i hadn't spoken to in four years. It was a sad funeral but there was also a lot of praise for this mans wife who had put up with his swearing and yelling for so many years. Thats just who he was and everyone knew it :)

Today we had a relaxing day :) I made some more jewellery and we watch some tv and i just ordered Chinese.

Yesterday we had dinner with friends and got the new monthly collabs up and running at the store :) I am so proud of myself....my first collabs are now on sale hahahaha

This one is made with Garnet which is an awesomely beautiful dark red precious stone. I tried to get the colour into the photo :) In between bits are silver and i think it is beautiful :) € 15,00 *SOLD*

This one is made with very bright green glass pearls and silver beads. There is also some glass cane at the front. This is very cute and fresh for the coming summer :) The earrings are also lightweight and fresh € 10,00

This one is made with tourquoise beads and clear cubes. These beads look very real but are in actual fact imitation (which is a nice word for plastic). This long necklace can be worn twice areounf the neck or only once with perhaps a knot in it. The earings make the set complete € 7,50

This is a lovely colour of tourquoise blue. There are silver pieces with a little bling in the middle and touquoise cateye beads. The earrings are on silver rings. € 15,00

This lovely pink necklace is also made with a little bling. The pink is almost fuschia. The cat eye shaped hearts are beautiful and the chain they are hung on is heavy quality silver plated. € 12,50 *SOLD*

This set is so fresh, its perfect for this coming summer :) Its a light green. The earrings are a perfect match. The chain is silver plated and very strong quality. € 12,50

These are little ear threads. You pull the chain through your ear right up to the first little ball. The dangles are clear and apple green Swarovski stones. This is of course available in tons of colours. € 5,00 per pair.

This is beautiful (if i say so myself :)). Its a gorgeous set consisting of necklace and earrings. The necklace is made with black serpentine (which is a natural gemstone) in between are clear Swarovski stones. The vocal point are the 5 celtic knots in the middle of the necklace. They have a little bling in the middle, these are silver plated. € 17,50

I hope you are all well. Yesterday we went back to work and school but its a funny week. Thursday is another National Holiday (Ascension Day) so everybody is off work and the schools are closed. Friday a lot of people take a day off and most schools are still closed. Friday we both have to work. bluegh :)

Happy Mothers Day

Hi there,

Long time no hear ! Ok, i promissed to blog during my holiday but i didn't :) I was enjoying myself too much hahaha We went to Plopsaland (a fun park for the smaller kids) and Yvano loved it. We went to the caves in Remouchamps which was awesome and we went to a safari park. Hubby, inlaws and yvano went for walks and i took extra naps :) We went out to dinner three times (and it was yummie).

It's mothers day today. Yvano woke me with a self made hyacinth and a rhyme, one chocolate and hubby bought me tickets to see Derek Ogilvie in the theater in Amsterdam. He is a medium and child whisperer.

Goodday to you all,

I hope you are all well. I am fine. I am not so down anymore. I spoke to my sister this morning by text message and she is doing fine, she is just really busy and of course i am counting down to my holiday hihi. We leav here at 10am tomorrow morning. As i said before my laptop is coming with me, so if all goes well i will be able to post :) The word arts i will be making later today. I won't have as much time as usual to do stuff because we are afterall on holiday :) Don't worry hunnies i'll be back home sometime next week friday !

I have passed the 50.000 visitor mark, this happened Monday. I spent all evening trying to contact everyone who left me some love to give them my newest WA pack. I have few surprises for you coming up. On April 30th it's Queens Day here in Holland. It's the queen mothers birthday and its a national holiday. It's one huge party. Everyone dresses in orange (our national colour) and we all go to markets or garage sales and buy more orange stuff....the kids paint their hair orange hihi and we hang our national flag outside. The queen and her family visit one of the cities and enjoy the festivities there. The day would end usually with a barbecue but we won't be here this year hihi. On the 30th i will place my part of a minikit, it's kind of a mini blogtrain with my cyberbuddies Alida and Irma. Its called 'The Queens Birthday' so be sure to grab that hahahaha.

Hiya ladies and gentlefriends :)

I hope you are all feeling fine and i hope the weather is being as kind to you as it is to us :) Yesterday was awesome. We went to the library in Amsterdam which usually takes about twenty minutes by car. This time we drove part of the way and took the ferry the other part which adds 15 minutes to the journey but is fun, only pedestrians are allowed on and it takes you over the busiest rivers in North Holland to Central Station, from there it is only a 10 minute walk.

Today the weather is supposed to be even better. Hmmmmm. We also have two birthdays today. My mother in law is celebrating her 64th birthday today and a friend of ours turned 41 on Thursday. So another busy day for us. hihi

As some of you may have heard we are going on holiday on Thursday. We are going to the Belgium Ardennen on Thursday with my parent in law. Its a school holiday and on May 7th Marcel and I celebrate our 12 1/2 wedding aniversary. Yeah for us. The house we rented has wifi so yes, my laptop is coming with me and hope to blog :)

I Will Always Be Your Friend

Hope you are all well today.

I am fine, my day off yesterday flew buy, we were at the courthouse most of time....well thats not really true, we spent most of the time looking for the courthouse. Haarlem (in Holland) is an oldfashioned town, with a city centre closed of to traffic and the streets around it all one way traffic. Of course i should not forget to mention the some of the roads were closed of due to road works. We finally found the street we needed but couldn't get to it because it was blocked off. My sister walked and i drove to see if i could get into the street, and drove, and drove. Finally she called me that she was finished and if i would pick her up......she walked back onto the street where i dropped her off and she couldn't find me.....I was on the street i had been looking for, for an hour ! Now it's funny, yesterday it wasn't :)

We have been pretty busy the last couple of days helping my sister at her new flat. Cleaning, painting, moving furniture, emptying boxes :) And know we are really tired, today the weather is going to be really nice, so we'll probably have a realxing day, if we ever get out of our jammies :)

Did you know i cancelled two of my stores so that i could accept the new job of lead designer at MLAS :) I love being with OneStopDigiShop and Sunflower Scrap but i like it more there. Linda and Carolyn are the sweetest and everyone makes you feel right at home :)

Just One Person

Hi There,

Well Thursday is upon us once more and what a day yesterday was. My sister and mom have moved house :) My mom to Dothan in Alabama, USA and my sister to Wormerveer, Holland.

They both have there own completely different reasons for moving but isn't it funny it turned out to be the same day ?!

Yvano also went to be tested yesterday and where we thought he has ADD the people (who, i presume, know what they are talking about) are leaning more towards ADHD. Not that it really makes much difference. The treatment and medication are the same. His file will be discussed in the team meeting (including a childrens doctor, childrens psychiatrist and our contact person) and we will hear their plans in four weeks. He will get a physical to determine medication amounts and we will go from there. Some kids grow over it, some kids manage to handle it on their own and some kids are on medication for the rest of their lives :(

So.....on a lighter note today is Thrifty Thursday and for the first time since we started i didn't put anything on sale. This is of course 'cause i was helping my sister move yesterday ! Goodmorning to you all !

I hope you are all well. I am fine, we had a busy day saturday and a nice day yesterday. Saturday is shopping and swimclass for Yvano. Hubby had to work. I spent the rest of the day looking on internet for stuff for my sister. She is moving house and has to start from scratch. She doesn't have much money and we have been searching places like e-bay and marketplace to catch free stuff or cheap stuff. We have found her beds for her and the kids, a setee and a dining set :)

Yesterday we went to Soest. A farmer there had an open day and you could check out the calfs, lambs, chickens and bunny rabbits. They put in a bouncy castle and made coffee for the parents. Yvano really enjoyed himself.

This is an exciting week. My sister is moving and my hubby gets his audit over and done with :) Hmmm and Yvano gets tested on Wednesday, we think he has ADD and we have to get him a passport for our holiday at the end of this month :)

I hope you are all doing well. I am fine, i had a busy day yesterday, walked a little to much now my knee is bothering me again.... I bought some cool stuff, got angry with the people who give the passports (i need hubby's signature are passport to apply for one for Yvano) and went to the eye doctor (Yvano needs to come back in 6 months and i got other eye drops). Today its back to work :)

He hunnies,

How are you doing today ? I am fine. I watched Quantum of Solace on tv last night, really is a typical James Bond movie....i love James Bond...my fav is Sean Connery....did i say i loved Sean Connery ? :)

Hunny was working late and when he finally got home at like 11, his dad called (he is 70), they had been run of the road by some idiot who did not stop and besides the car damage they now had a flat and didn't know how to change it :( Needless to say the whole thing scared them to death :( Hubby drove to them and helped them change the tire. He is my hero :)

I have a busy day today. I am going to town with my friend we do that once every 3 months when the kids are at school and shop :) Then i have to pick up Yvano from school and go get his pasport renewed. And then i have an appointment with the eyedoctor at 3:30 and yvano has an appointment with the eye doctor at 4.15. pffffff hubby will be late tonight again also ! Did i also mention i hate audits:) His is on the 15th..........

Hi there,

Yesterday was another National Holiday in Holland. They have Easter Sunday and Easter Monday and all the schools, stores and most companies are closed. We went to the library (which was open) and then to McDonalds (which was open) for a kiddie meal for Yvano and then to the Turkish Snackbar for a kebab sandwich hmmmm (which was open). We played in the afternoon with Yvano's lego (and my computer hahahahaha) and ordered Chinese for dinner. My diet starts again today !

I hope you had a great weekend :) I really have a monday morning feeling hahahaha

Delight in the little things!

Hi folkes,

I hope you are all well. Yesterday was so hectic for me but in a good way. I brought Yvano and my friends kids to school. I went to the dentist and got one of my teeth crowned. I walked (with my friends daughter) to the shoe shop and i bought 5 (yes five :)) pairs of shoes. What, they were not all for me hahahahaha two for me, two for my hunnie and one for my sister. I just wanted to give her a little pick me up ! Then i picked Yvano up from school and went to Ballorig. That is so cool, its like a huge, really huge indoor playground with climbing racks, trampolines, bouncy castles, football fields and who knows what else. And then i went out with my sister, we had somethings to look at :) When her closest and ex-closest know then i 'll tell you what we did but it was fun and i am so happy for her ! And then we collapsed on the setee and talked untill bed time :) Busy huh !

I hope you are all doing well ! I am fine. Well not really because i fell doen the stairs :( silly twat just missed a step. I scraped my arm and elbow on the wall, have a blue backside (and believe me that makes one huge bruise:)) and the doctor says I have a 'slijmbeursontsteking' which google translates as bursitis. Do not know what that is only that it hurts with everything you do !

Morning all,

I hope you are all doing well ! I am ok. The audit went quite well. They had some comments but then don't they always :) Nothing major....just a few points that need a quick fix :)

Some good news: Mirja is at home. She is still not right, very tired and it seems she does have some problems with her eyes. The docters don't know if it will be permanent or not. She is seeing double, which i can imagine will be really annoying !

Linda is feeling much better also ! They did another surgery on her back and this one really helped. She felt so much better after the surgery. She will be back on her feet before we know it :)

I dont have much for you today i am still recovering from last night. We went to an 80's party and danced until 6 am pffffff. We are helping out with Mirja's kids and three boys (ages 6 and 5) can be really tiring, one minute they get on fine and the next they are pulling each others hair out. I wanted to say that Linda and our friend Mirja are recovering slowly. I don't know how long back surgery takes you out of the running. But it could be a year before Mirja is back to her old self. The only thing we are thankful for right now is that she has had no signs of lack of function:)

I hope you are all well ! I am fine. Yesterday we did nothing to the attic and we both fell asleep on the couch at half past nine :) This weekend is going to be pretty busy too. And one of our friends Mirja (who has the kid that broke his leg twice, length ways) was taken in to hospital on wednesday night, they think she had an intracranial hermorrhage, she's only like 34.....poor hunnie.

Goodmorning to you all,

I hope you are all doing well. I am fine :) Back to work Monday :( We have a lot going on as we have another audit on the 22nd of March.....you kind of want everything to be up to date and spik and span :) Friday i left work at a quarter to seven. Thats kind of what its going to be like until the 22nd.

Have you ever stopped and thought about the people that follow your blog? Someone pointed this out to me recently. People you don't talk to anymore, or people you know, but haven't told you they read your blog.....who are still in a kind of sneaky way....following what you're up to....Weird thought he ! Well if there is anyone out there who wants to know we are doing, pick up the phone and ask us LOL

Yesterday was the judging on the semi final of the scrap off at MLAS. Only three ladies on to this week....the winner is next week :) Very exciting ! Check it out at MLAS for a little fun, the birthday celebrations last only until coming Sunday and then its all over for another year !

Hi there,

Well as you have probably noticed i have not blogged for a few days. I just didn't have time and i don't really know why 'cause i was up as early as i always was....i just didn't get around to it ! So to make up for that there is a lot here today !

Of course i have a freebie but there is more ......

Rebecca B and .....Designs have done an awesome collab together called 'Lets here is for the boys'. Its on a 50% discount right now at MLAS. Rebeccas blog is here and there is a freebie for you from her so click on over there to download.

I made two layouts with this kit and its good for all the guy stuff.....i havent seen many nuts and bolts kits out there !

Hi there,

I hope you are all well ! I am fine...my mum has flown back to the states and now has to prepare for knee surgery in April and moving from Pittsburgh to Alabama after that :) I don't know when she will be back or we will be there but we'll have to wait and see.....

I haven't scrapped or made word arts (except for the freebies) for like two weeks so i have a list as long as my arm :)

I do have two layouts for you :) I took part in one of the birthday challenges at MLAS, the RAK challenge. You get partnered with another scrapper and you make layouts for each other. So i got partnered with RED ELF and we exchanged photo's....here is what we came up with.

My layout is (in retrospect) not as good as i had hoped. Hers is really awesome ! I love it, i love the rich colours, the extraction of the photo and i dont know what she did with it but it looks like he was drawn in there....The title is really good as he is standing in huge tree roots but the photo was also taken in Scotland, my roots :) Her layout has been nominated for 'Layout Of The Week' at MLAS.

Hiya all,

I hope you are all doing well. I am ok, tired i guess...its been a hectic week with my mum being here ! Its kind of a day to day thing.

A few days ago i was asked by a friend to take a look at a baby site, read the blog and make a word art for her. I thought how hard can that be. well.......this baby is called Sterre and although i couldn't find her age, i thought her to be about six months old. This little darling is recovering from operations, chemotherapy and it worst of all leukemia :( Reading that blog really broke my heart ! But recovering is a good thing even if its slow.

Her mum is also moving house and wanted something like a quote or word art to paint on to her door or bedroom wall when the little darling is finally allowed home !

So here is my word art for Sterre ! I thought it very appropriate for a little baby girl who really has gone through hell, she is tough and has not given up and how easy can that be for a little 6 month old. The download link is below the image, have fun with that !

Yesterday i saw Alida and her daughter Mirthe. Alida is on my CT team and whe have known each other for years on forums and got to know each other pretty well ! Yesterday i drove an hour and 15 minutes with my mum and son to meet her. It was pretty cool ! We connected and i think we will be seeing more of her :) I got home and found the following layout in my mailbox. Thanks Alida, it is once more really cute !

Well ladies and gentlefriends,

Do i have some cool stuff for you ! Rebecca B made this really cute new kit ! Its part of a collab with two other designers. Yes something the opposite from the ballerina one :) This one is for boy or gents depending on there play age :) and that is right up my street !

Its called Speed Freaks. Its all about cars and stuff :) Here are the previews. You can buy her stuff at ScrapParty Digishop and very soon at My Life and Scrap but for this week only its FREE ! My mum

Hi there,

As you have guessed i didn't have time to blog yesterday....i got up at six with the intention of blogging and found a text message from mum that she had landed already...she was supposed to land at 5 to 8 pffff..... I woke up Yvano and dressed ourselves, didn't even have time to brush our teeth (yuegh) and speeded to the airport. Its only a half hours drive but i didnt want her to be standing in the cold waiting on me. That is really not how i imagined her arrival, i wanted to be inside to welcome her at the gate ! Oh well.....

Mum went to bed to sleep for a few hours and i brushed our teeth and did shopping. Just back from shopping my brother and his son Conner came around. After that my sister. Then her kids.....So my house is full. My hubby, Yvano and myself all slept in our room. My sister and her kids stayed in Yvanos room on a blow up bed and my mum had the spare room !

Goodmorning to you all !

I am a happy person today ! Yes its friday and yes my mommy is coming tomorrow ! We saw her in August when she came over for our friends funeral. We email a lot :) sometimes 10 times a day now i get my email on my phone:):) which is for me in the afternoon at work and at home in the evening. Pittsburgh is 6 hours behind us !

How do you like my blog? I love it. Its bright and full of spring dont you think ? The kit is called Fresh and Wet and its by Rucola Designs. This talented lady is a colleague of mine at MLAS. Well goodmorning to you all !

First of all i wish My Life And Scrap (and of course Linda and Carolyn) a very happy birthday. I believe they have had a good year and wish them many more !

I have so much to tell you. Yesterday i had a list of to do's as long as my arm, and they all had to do with digital scrapbooking and all the balls I have in the air.

Linda from MLAS has so much going on at the moment for our Birthday Bash she asked me to take over the Treasure Hunt contest. So I made an ad for that, and sent the ladies who offered use of there blog instructions. Its going to be so cool. The ad is here ! You really have to join in, its not really difficult, shouldn't really take you any time at all but you get a free collab and one winner gets a 4gb smart drive.

Its also Thrifty Thursday over at MLAS today so i have three packs at a 50% sales, the previews are here. So grab them while you can, its only for today !
